Niki Davis is Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at Iowa State University, where she also directs the Center for Technology in Learning and Teaching. Ms. Davis is also a part-time Professor of Information and Computer Technology in the Institute of Education, University of London. Her scholarship is published widely accompanied by international projects researching digital technologies to enhance teacher education, utilizing flexible and distance learning. She is the current President of the Society of Information Technology in Teacher Education (http://www.aace.org/site). She is Chair of the International Federation
of Information Processing working group for Educational Research and a
member of the UNESCO Task Force that created an ICT planning guide for
teacher education. She established the first Telematics Centre in the
University of Exeter School of Education in Europe. Ms. Davis currently
leads a prestigious international USA-European project, ‘International
Leadership for Educational Technology: A Transatlantic Bridge for Doctoral
