Michelle Khaldun

Michelle Khaldun attended Bernard Baruch College, City University of New York where she obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Investments and graduated Magnum Cum Laude. She started her professional career in New York as a financial analyst and by 1991, became Bermuda's most senior female banking executive, managing advances and corporate banking departments at Bermuda Commercial Bank and Somers Mortgage and Finance Company.

In November 1999, Ms. Khaldun embraced the challenge to head the Government's second largest Ministry as Permanent Secretary of Education. She counts it an honour and a privilege to work in Education and brings her professional skills and private sector expertise to task in her role.

Ms. Khaldun served as a former parent lobbyist at New York State Legislature for Head Start Programs and is the past Deputy Chair of the Board of Governors of Bermuda College..
