Glen Bull

Professor Glen Bull is co-director of the Center for Technology and Teacher Education at the University of Virginia, and currently holds an endowed Chair, serving as the Ward Professor of Education. He is a founder and past president of the Virginia Society for Technology in Education (VSTE), receiving its highest recognition, “Honors of the Association,” in 1994. He developed one of the first statewide K - 12 Internet systems, Virginia’s Public Education Network (PEN), linking all 2,000 of Virginia’s schools to the Internet. He served as Chair of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) research committee, and authors an on-going column, “Mining the Internet,” for ISTE’s flagship publication, Learning and Leading with Technology. He is a founder and past president of the Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE), and a recipient of the SITE Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000. He currently serves as editor of the education technology journal, Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education. He also serves on the IECF Advisory Board.
